FOCUS ON SERVICE, NOT POSITION
We go to school to be equipped for the world out there; and not
necessarily to become school prefects. In the same vein, we go to church
to get equipped for destiny pursuit and the realisation of our purpose
in life. Hence, stop eyeing top positions in church and start focusing
on what is needful, i.e. your equipping. I realised that Daniel, Ruth
and Esther were not top officials in a church but they fulfilled their
destiny so well that some books in the Bible were written solely about
them, whereas some of the first Apostles don't have any. It's all about
perception!
If you are given a position, see it as a platform for more
equipping, but if you aren't, please be content, and stop murmuring. We
won't all be church leaders, but we must all be God's change agents in
our world.
