LET GOD HARNESS YOU (Part 2)

However, when I thought of taking such steps, I perceived him pull my heart back, saying to me 'FLORENCE, I WANT YOU WITH ME. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THIS'. Hmm, the devil we are dealing with is not stupid at all; he is smarter than everyone except God. I've heard of people who left God for few months and by the time they decided to return, the devil had loaded them with problems like incurable diseases, one scar or the other, etc. 

If God comes for you very early in life, I congratulate you because you are one of the most-privileged people on earth. Remember, some people had made several mistakes and dabbled into complicated issues before giving their lives to Christ. WHENEVER God comes for you; stretching his arm of salvation to you, please do not hesitate to surrender your life to him. Don't postpone your salvation; TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE. God knows why he is coming for you at that time.

In addition, brethren, if God gives you a ministry to young people (especially secondary school students), please do not see it as a lesser ministry. Give it all your best and let God harness them early through you before the devil latches on them. Whenever I look back, I think of what would have become of me by now if there was no one to PREACH to me (Romans 10 vs 14-18)? What if there was no one to PRAY for me so that the hold of the devil can be broken off my life and my understanding opened to God's love (Isaiah 25 vs 7)? What if no one FOLLOWED me up (or DISCIPLED me) so that I could grow in Christ (Acts 15 vs 36)?

Therefore, brethren, do not let God down. Let Him be able to depend on you to preach to and follow-up that niece, nephew, cousin, neighbour, student, etc. of yours that he brings around you. Even if the contact is just for few days, please sow the seed of God's word into his/her heart, and allow the Holyspirit to complete the job. May you bring joy to God's heart over these young ones in Jesus name (Amen).

Delay is not denial, your own man that will place the right value on you is on his way. Don’t forget that you mostly misuse anything you buy cheap. Compare your attitude to a pair of shoes you got for #300 and the one you got for #7,000. You know how you keep the latter away safely immediately you get back from an outing while the former could lie around in the room until you are ready. The same way a man would treat you; depending on the platform at which he meets you. Wait and keep developing yourself to become a wife, a high-calibre career woman and an asset in God’s house.

  (Continued from Part 1) Therefore, if you base God’s acceptance of you by the attitude of a brethren towards you (irrespective of his/her title), you are likely to live unhappily. Moreover, remember that emotions are never stable; Sometimes you are high and other times you are low. Therefore, allowing the way another person feels of you to determine your definition of yourself is too tragic for your healthy living; both spiritually and socially. Don’t forget that you can’t please everybody; you can only live peaceably with everyone, and don’t expect everybody to like you; just live peaceably with everyone. My spiritual father would say, “You don’t need everybody to like you, you  only need the critical people of your life and destiny to like you”. He also says, “People may not like you but live your life in a way that they can’t ignore you”. Embrace excellence in what you do and you will see people of like minds getting attracted to you.
